Creston is a gated and private mountain community just 15 minutes south of Black Mountain. Creston is considered low-density with only 135 homesites in the community. This community offers high speed fiber optic internet and underground utilities. There are hiking trails and picnic spots with scenic vistas to take in the long range views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and Mount Mitchell. There are also covenants and restrictions restricting construction style and size. Many of the parcels are over one acre in size with driveways cut in to visualize where the house would be best suited.

Creston offers a community clubhouse with 360 degree views of the surrounding mountains and many of the neighbors gather for wine tastings and yoga classes at the clubhouse! Creston's 1100 acre community is also bordered by protected conservation land.
